"Used To Think" was composed in preparation for Spencer McGillicutty's third album "All The Happy People!" Ryan wrote it as a sort of a little brother song to Mitchell's "Tell," from that album. "Used To Think" was originally conceived of as an acoustic finger-picking song, but was re-imagined by Tyler Tholl for this recording.
